Getting Started

Welcome to LunaRabbit Office!

Step 1: Open the Sidebar

After installing the add-on, open it from the menu:

1. Go to Extensions in the top menu bar
2. Select LunaRabbit
3. Click Open Sidebar

The AI chat sidebar will appear on the right side of your spreadsheet.

Step 2: Chat with AI

Type your request in plain English. For example:

• "Calculate the total revenue by region"
• "Create a VLOOKUP formula to match product names"
• "Sort this data by date and highlight duplicates"
• "Translate column B from English to Spanish"

The AI will read your spreadsheet, generate the appropriate formulas or actions, and execute them automatically.

Step 3: Use Custom Functions

Type AI-powered functions directly in any cell. Here are the most popular ones:

• =LR_AI("summarize this row", A1:F1) — General AI processing
• =LR_TRANSLATE("Hello world", "ko") — Translate text to any language
• =LR_CLASSIFY(A1, "positive, negative, neutral") — Classify text into categories
• =LR_EXTRACT(A1, "email addresses") — Extract specific information
• =LR_WEB("current AAPL stock price") — Search the web for live data
• =LR_VISION(IMAGE_URL, "describe this image") — Analyze images

All 19 custom functions are available on the Free plan.

Tips

• Be specific: "Sum column B where column A is 'Sales'" works better than "add up numbers"
• Use references: The AI can see your active sheet. Mention cell ranges like "A1:D10" for precision
• Iterate: If the result isn't perfect, ask the AI to adjust. It remembers the conversation context

Free Plan Limits

The Free plan includes 10 credits per week (reset every Monday) with access to all 19 custom functions in Sprinter mode. No credit card required.
